House System

The House system is an important and vibrant part of Don Bosco Infant Jesus School. The school is divided into four houses, namely, Blue, Green, Red and Yellow respectively. Through the house system the students imbibe values of cooperation, collaboration, tolerance and healthy competition.

Clubs

Besides the house system, club activities help to foster loyalty, leadership and healthy competitions among the students of classes 1 to 10. The clubs offer the students ample opportunities to bring out their innate talents.

Philately and numismatic club

To create cultural & historical awareness and instill a wider perspective among the students the school encourages the students to participate in philately and numismatic club activities. Ever since its inception the club has been successful in inspiring the students through the annual exhibitions and Notice board displays.

Sports, adventure and nature Club

To develop sociability, spontaneity, self-confidence, sense of responsibility and cooperation, to facilitate the development of life skills and to motivate the students to be eco-friendly and to create awareness about the major environmental concerns the Sports Adventure and Nature Club has been formed in the school. The club has ever since empowered the students through various indoor and outdoor activities.

Health and social service club

To promote health awareness and to develop in the students the virtues of compassion, empathy and fellow feeling, the Health and social service club has been formed in the school. Through regular visits to old age homes, orphanages and such institutions, the club has inspired its members by means of various social service activities.

Arts and GK club

To create general awareness of the local, national and international events, personalities, sports etc. and sharpen the memory and to build upon students’ knowledge, skills and creativity through art, the Arts and GK Club has been formed. Through various art and quiz competitions in the school the club has taken learning beyond the confines of the textbooks.

Literary and Integrity Club

To foster love for books and literature and to transform our students into persons of integrity the literary and integrity club is formed. The club has initiated many programmes over the years and thus helped its members and others to imbibe great values and a global perspective.

Child Rights Club

To make the students capable of becoming responsible, productive and useful members of the society, and to fight for the rights of the children who do not have access to formal education, the Child rights club has been formed. The club has ever since actively participated in various child rights awareness programmes and has empathized with the less privileged ones.

Maths and Science Club

To promote academic excellence in Maths and Science, to increase scientific awareness among the students the maths and science club has been formed. Ever since its inception, the club has assisted the students in critical thinking and in scientific activities.
